As a company we encourage staff progression and development is key to a higher quality of support.
We now have a staff team of around 28 dedicated staff.

Ashley Pountney Managing Director, Registered Manager and Provider

I’ve worked in care and supported living provisions since the age of 18, having trained as a carpenter after leaving college it wasn’t until i had a tumour in my skull i returned to work in the social care field back in 2010. Having started working for a residential college with no qualifications i started working with complex needs and challenging behaviour. I gradually progressed into a managerial role gaining qualifications at level 3 and 5 in health and social care. In 2016 at the age of 3 my son was diagnosed with ASD as well as my 6 year old daughter, i decided then that i wanted to create a future for my son who was none verbal at the time and accessing a specialist nursery. Over the next 12 months i set up Inclusion Independence limited and we opened our first house in September 2017. I’m the registered manager and provider of all our current homes and still work on shift alongside all the other staff, this allows me to maintain close working relations with all our service users. Over the past 11 years i’ve worked with many complex individuals with Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, mental health, epilepsy and diabetes. As a parent of somebody with Autism i know how hard it can sometimes be and how hard we have to fight as parents, i’m extremely passionate about the standard of care and support that people with disabilities receive and i push to ensure this is achieved in all my homes on a day-to-day basis. I also recently became a governor at my son’s specialist school to try and help support the development of younger children.

Paul Neale House Manager

He’s extremely passionate about care and working with adults with disabilities.

Louise Senior Care Worker

Louise is a senior care worker and works across all the houses in the provision, she joined inclusion independence in November 2017 and has since gone on to achieve her level 5 qualification within the company. Louise has over 10 years worth of experience of working in care and is an integral part of the team and the service users appreciate her love for gaming and computers especially when they need fixing.

Care workers

We currently have a care workers working towards levels 3 and 4 qualifications, we have staff who are qualified at level 5 level, all other staff are qualified to a Care Certificate Level Standard or above. We have a dedicated staff team with vast amounts of experience in all parts of the sector. They are all dedicated members of the team who are extremely motivated to achieve the best results for the service users. The hard work and dedication they have shown through the pandemic is clear to see and this has resulted in us not having any outbreaks to date. As a company we don’t believe in using agency staff and have a pool of bank workers that include professional dog walkers, animal therapist and Singer / DJ. The experience we have in the team allows us to bring in new members of staff and allow them to learn and develop into the role. We hope that when you visit our provisions you see our friendly family atmosphere.
